2011 Texas Prospects Annual Winter League
This will be 4 week league, 10 game schedule with a Championship Tournament at the end. This is a great way to work on certain skills and get ready for the Spring Season. The talent will be equally distributed by skill level and by position. This is a great opportunity tot get extra work in a game format. Each player will be given a Texas Prospects shirt. We will also do infield and outfield practice before every game. There will be a mandatory try out/practice at Texas Prospects Academy on Monday, November 28th at 6:30 pm. Games will be played during the week and weekends at Texas Prospects fields with certified umpires. Here are the rules for the Winter League:
1. Rosters batted.
2. Run rule in effect.
3. No pitcher will pitch 2 games in a row.
4. 70 pitch count for starters.
5. Hour and fourty minute games or 7 Innings.
6. Each team is allowed 2 roster add ons.
7. Games will not end in a tie.
8. No player will be the same position 2 games in a row.
9. Substitutions will sit no more than 2 innings per game.
10. Texas Prospects will supply official game balls.
11. No intentional walks.
12. Must wear proper team uniform. (white pants, black socks and black belt)
* League Begins the Week of November 29th and ends December 17th.
