Texas Prospects Winter League
This will be 6 week league, 10 game schedule with a Championship Tournament at the end. This is a great way to work on certain skills and get ready for the Spring Season. We will take 40-50 players and have 3-5 teams. The talent will be equally distributed by skill level and by position. This is a great opportunity tot get extra work in a game format. Each player will be given a Texas Prospects shirt and cap. We will also do infield and outfield practice before every game. Games will be played during the week and weekends at Texas Prospects fields with certified umpires. Here are some of the rules.
1. Rosters batted.
2. Run rule in effect.
3. No pitcher will pitch 2 games in a row.
4. 70 pitch count for starters.
5. Hour and fourty minute games or 7 Innings.
6. Each team is allowed 2 roster add ons.
7. Games will not end in a tie.
8. No player will be the same position 2 games in a row.
9. Substitutions will sit no more than 2 innings per game.
10. Texas Prospects will supply official game balls.
11. No intentional walks.
12. Must wear proper team uniform. (white pants, black socks and black belt)
Cost $160 per player
League Begins the Week of December 12th and ends at the end of January.
