We are excited to begin the HS Winter League at Texas Prospects Baseball Academy.
Texas Prospects created this league last year, and has seen several young athletes benefit from this program. The league's main priority is to provide a competitive environment for players who are committed to reaching their highest goals in baseball. Access to an elite baseball facility, games every week, lessons from professional instructors, and possible roster advancement are just a few of the exciting opportunities available to any player on this team.
The league will be divided into six equal teams and play on weekdays and some weekends at Texas Prospects. We will also play in one large tournament every month using a 15-man roster of our top performers. This tournament roster can change each month and spots can be earned or lost every time we step on the field.
Professional coaches will be working with this team at every practice and game they play. Texas Prospects is a top of the line facility and our players will be exposed daily to some of Houston's elite baseball minds. Bandito coaches, collegiate coaches, professional scouts, and professional personal instructors may be present on any given day. Stats and records will be kept throughout the season.
Players on this roster may be selected, on any given weekend, by another team within our organization to play in different tournaments. You never know who is watching our games or practices.
A players work ethic and attitude may be great when they know people are watching, but their true character is shown when they think no one is watching them.
